All three vehicles have three engine choices, the 3.6L V6, the legendary 5.7L Hemi, and the fire-breathing 6.4L HEMI equipped SRT-8. AIRAID offers a Cold Air Dam (CAD) System that fits 2011, 2012, 2013 2014, 2015 and 2016 Dodge Challengers, Chargers, and Chrysler 300C models equipped with a V6 engine as well as the 5.7L and 6.4L HEMI V8 engines. These systems consist of metal cold air dam panels that replace the factory air filter box. These panels bolt together and keep the air filter isolated from hot engine compartment air while adding additional areas for the engine to draw in cool outside air. Weather stripping positioned along the top of the panels seals against the hood and further isolates the filter from hot engine compartment air. The panels make room for a large premium AIRAID filter that is available in a variety of colors and media types. A filter adapter and short coupler connect the AIRAID assembly to the factory intake tube, completing the system. The CAD systems for all three engines are as follows: 350-210 includes a red oiled filter; 351-210 comes with a dry red filter; 352-210 also uses a dry filter, but in black, and; 353-210 has a dry blue filter.

AIRAID’s MXP Series Cold Air Intake Systems take things one step further. The MXP Series intake for MOPAR muscle consists of a complete replacement roto-molded intake box that drops directly in place of the factory air box and filter. Like the CAD system, the MXP intake box has weather stripping positioned along the top of the box that seals against the underside of the hood, effectively using the hood as a “lid” for the intake box. The AIRAID box utilizes the factory cold air inlet duct and also adds more forward-facing area to draw in cool outside air. A new engine-specific intake tube connects the intake box to the throttle body. Constructed of cross-linked polyethylene, the intake tube is designed to optimize airflow to the engine and has provisions for all of the factory sensors and fittings, so no modifications are needed. An oversize premium filter completes the system.

Each year, the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) presents an enormous trade show in Las Vegas, Nevada at the Las Vegas Convention Center. At this show SEMA member companies and manufacturers unveil their latest offerings, while buyers, distributors and members of the press walk their feet off to see it all. The variety of products to see is astonishing, ranging from restyling accessories and automotive organizers to engine parts, restoration supplies, street-rod components and safety enhancements.

While the annual SEMA show is meant to bring the industry together to do business it has also become a vacation destination. Following a crash at Wild West Motorsports Park the Jeremy McGrath Motorsports team worked to repair the Pro 2 truck for the Las Vegas, Nevada LOORRS rounds 15 and 16

AIRAID Performance Filters supported Jeremy McGrath Motorsports had a busy month of September getting the Pro 2 truck repaired after a massive crash at Wild West Motorsports Park in Sparks, Nevada near Reno, Nevada. Jeremy McGrath, a 7-time 250cc AMA Supercross champion, was fortunate to have walked away from what many people have called one of the worst crashes in off-road short course history. Jeremy McGrath and fellow Pro 2 racer Carl Renezeder made contact at the end of the front straight away where the trucks were reaching speeds of 95 MPH. The Loctite - Fuel Off Road Wheels Pro 2 truck driven by Jeremy McGrath hit the end of a k-rail barrier and took flight. The truck rolled several times before coming to a stop on its roof in the middle of the track. Luckily, McGrath radioed his crew and told them he was okay and getting out of the truck.

The Loctite - Fuel Off Road Wheels Pro 2 truck ran great for LOORRS round 15 but a rock became wedged in the carburetor linkage forcing Jeremy McGrath to settle for 5th place

Following the crash at Wild West Motorsports Park the Jeremy McGrath Motorsports team worked every day to make all the necessary repairs and get the AIRAID filters equipped Pro 2 ready for the Las Vegas, Nevada rounds 15 and 16 of the Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing Series (LOORRS). "It’s good to be at the track and have a new truck ready to race. Reno is behind us and we want to get back to winning." Jeremy told several fans during the Thursday practice session. The Loctite - Fuel Off Road Wheels Pro 2 truck ran great the next day for LOORRS round 15. Jeremy McGrath started the race from the fourth row but had moved up to the 4th spot by lap 10. On lap 13 bad luck struck again in the form of a rock that became wedged in the carburetor linkage. Jeremy McGrath would have to settle for 5th place in LOORRS round 15 because of limited power.

The Pro 2 race was the final race of LOORRS round 16 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway and the Jeremy McGrath Motorsports team was excited to race toward a Pro 2 podium finish

On Saturday night the Pro 2 race was the final race of LOORRS round 16 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Jeremy McGrath’s Loctite - Fuel Off Road Wheels AIRAID powered Pro 2 truck looked great and the Jeremy McGrath Motorsports team was excited to race toward a podium finish. Jeremy McGrath got an excellent start and was able to pass three trucks by turn one. Jeremy was on the move and heading toward the front before disaster struck on lap 5. A fuel line on the Loctite - Fuel Off Road Wheels Pro 2 truck ruptured and set fire to the truck. LOORRS officials immediately red flagged the race and Jeremy McGrath was able to exit the truck safely. The Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing Series safety crew successfully put out the blaze very quickly.

Jeremy McGrath got an excellent start in LOORRS round 16 passing three trucks by turn one; however a fuel line on the Loctite - Fuel Off Road Wheels Pro 2 truck ruptured causing a fire

"It was painful to watch this very strong team suffer a malfunction and not finish the race. We all work so hard and love what we do. Off-Road racing can be brutal at times, but we can WIN again! We will go back to the shop and do some testing and try to finish out the year strong at our home track in Lake Elsinore, California on Oct 24th and 25th," said Jeremy McGrath after the disastrous events of Saturday night. The Ram 1500 Pickup, formerly the Dodge Ram, was first introduced in 1981 and was named for the Ram hood ornament which first appeared on Dodge vehicles in 1933.
