353-210 SynthaMax Cold Air Dam Intake System Installed

The AIRAID® 353-210 air intake system features a computer-designed Cold Air Dam that isolates a massive AIRAID® premium blue SynthaMax filter from hot under hood air. The cold air charge is drawn through the filter and into the engine with a cross-linked high-density Polyethylene intake adaptor designed to further optimize airflow. This optimized airflow results in increased horsepower and torque. When combined with the exceptional fit and finish typical of all AIRAID® products, it adds up to performance with good looks to match!

The AIRAID® 353-210 air intake fits many 2011 to 2016 Chrysler 300, Chrysler 300C, Chrysler 300S, Dodge Challenger, and Dodge Charger models with 3.6 liter, 5.7 liter and 6.4 liter engines. This intake is easy to install. It connects to the factory hose using factory mounting points.

Cold Air Intake System for 2013-2016 Scion FR-S and Subaru BRZ

AIRAID MXP Series Cold Air Intake for 2013-2016 Scion FR-S/Subaru BRZ

AIRAID MXP Series Cold Air Intake for 2013-2016 Scion FR-S/Subaru BRZ

The Scion FR-S and Subaru BRZ are both nimble and powerful cars but the engineers at AIRAID have managed to squeeze even more out power of this potent package thanks to industry-leading MXP technology.

The AIRAID system starts with an all-new air intake tube that provides a large, smooth path for the cold air to be directed into the engine from the air box. The intake tube also has the option to delete the factory sound tube with a trick billet plug that contains a built-in 1/16” NPT fitting. The new sealed cold air box utilizes the factory cold air inlet to ensure plenty of cool air is on tap and it houses a massive hand-made air filter that is available with either SynthaFlow oiled or SynthaMax non-oiled air filter media. The air box is capped with an anodized aluminum lid that isolates the filter from hot engine compartment air while allowing easy access to the filter for servicing.

This system requires no additional tuning; just bolt it in and go! This system fits 2013-2016 FR-S models as well as 2013-2016 Subaru BRZ models and there are two options with different air filters. The AIRAID 510-307 comes with a SynthaFlow oiled air filter and the AIRAID 511-307 comes with a SythaMax non-oiled synthetic air filter.

The 510-307 and 511-307 fits the models below:

AIRAID Intake Kit for 2015-2016 GMC Canyon, Chevy Colorado Offers More Horsepower

The AIRAID 200-298 Air Intake System for the 2015-2016 GMC Canyon and Chevy Colorado.

The AIRAID 200-298 air intake system includes an AIRAID 720-473 washable and reusable air filter

In 1913, the Galion Allsteel Body Company constructed and installed hauling boxes on a slightly modified Ford Model T chassis. In 1924, Dodge fitted a three-quarter ton pickup made entirely of wood with a cab and in 1925 Ford included a Model-T-based half-ton steel body with an adjustable tailgate and heavy-duty rear springs. These created a vehicle known as the pickup truck.

Used first for utilitarian reasons, the pickup truck started to gain popularity in the 1950s when people started purchasing them for lifestyle. During this time pickup trucks with car-like smooth-sided fenderless bodies were being introduced and soon comfort items were included such as power options and air conditioning. Pickup trucks became more passenger-friendly with the introduction of crew cabs.

Throughout the fifties American car manufacturers did not experience any competition in the new vehicle classification from foreign automakers. In 1963, with the threat of the introduction into the American market of the Volkswagen Type 2 pickup truck, the U.S. Congress passed the protectionist chicken tax, which went on to protect the light truck market for American manufacturers and stop the Volkswagen Type 2 from coming to America.

Later, American automakers fought to protect the light-truck tariff and that helped to lessen the pressure to develop pickups that polluted less and offered better fuel economy. In 1973, the U.S. government set higher fuel economy standards for cars, but not for pickups. Moreover, emission control standards were set for cars, but did not limit pickups. As a result, as muscle cars started to disappear, muscle-car enthusiasts began turning to the pickup due to their performance capability.

In the 1980s, compact foreign built trucks like the Mazda B-Series and Mitsubishi Forte began to compete in the U.S. market. So American manufacturers started constructing their own compact models like the Ford Ranger and the Chevrolet S-10. Minivans started to erode the pickup truck market share during the rest of the 1980s and in the 1990s, pickups’ market share was further reduced by the rising popularity of the sport utility vehicle.

In the 1970s we started to see several cab styles. The first extended cab truck in the U.S. added extra space behind the main seat and was called the Club Cab, which Chrysler introduced in 1973 on its Dodge trucks. International Harvester unveiled the crew cab or double cab in 1957. It could seat five or six passengers and has two full-size front hinged doors on both sides. Dodge came up with its own crew cab in 1963, followed by Ford in 1965 and Chevrolet in 1973.

Cargo beds have varied in size depending on whether the truck was to be used to haul cargo or passengers. Most now have fixed side walls and a hinged tailgate. Cargo beds generally are available in two styles -- step-side, which has extended fenders on the outside of the cargo area; and fleet side bed, which has wheel-wells inside the bed.

The Chevrolet Colorado and its counterpart the GMC Canyon are mid-size pickup trucks manufactured by General Motors and introduced in 2004 to replace the compact Chevrolet S-10 and GMC Sonoma.

The 2-door or 4-door truck was available as a rear-wheel drive and four-wheel drive that had an assortment of five different engines to power it. They both also came in 2 cab options - a regular cab and an extended cab.

The K&N 200-298 air intake kit includes a built-in velocity stack for more airflow improvement.

The AIRAID 200-298 air intake is a one-piece roto-molded air box that reduces airflow restriction

After three years off the market, the Chevrolet Colorado was re-introduced in 2015. It was available as a 4-door crew and extended cab, two all new engines were available to power it –- a 3.6-liter V6 gasoline engine that delivers 305-horsepower or a 2.5-liter I-4 gasoline engine that generated 200-horsepower.

A 2.8-liter I-4 diesel engine was introduced on the 2016 version of the Canyon. The engines and transmissions that were available for the 2015 Canyon are also available for the 2016 model.

AIRAID offers the 200-298 air intake kit for 2015 and 2016 GMC Canyons and Chevrolet Colorados. Designed to deliver higher horsepower and acceleration, the air intake kit includes a one-piece roto-molded air box that helps to enhance restriction on airflow that plagued the factory design intake. Inside the air box is a washable and reusable AIRAID premium air filter that includes a multiple layered cotton gauze and non-woven synthetic media that also helps ensure higher airflow and filtration.

Air is channeled through a new air intake tube that is made of cross-linked, high-density polyethylene that was engineered via computer modeling so that it maintains proper mass airflow readings and calibration. The air intake also includes a built-in velocity stack that further improves airflow.

The AIRAID 200-298 air intake system is designed to replace the stock intake tubing, air filter and air box. Installation can be easily performed using common hand tools.

AIRAID also offers an air filter cleaning kit that is specially formulated to cleanse the air filter after every 30,000 to 50,000 miles of use. So, if properly cleaned when required, the filter can be used over and over again.

AIRAID is so sure of the quality of the AIRAID 200-298 cold air intake system, it backs it with a No Hassle Lifetime Warranty.

The AIRAID 200-298 Air Intake Kit is designed to fit the following vehicle applications:

2016 GMC CANYON 3.6L V6 Fuel Injection - All Models
