The AIRAID® Intake Systems features a computer-designed Cold Air Dam that isolates a massive 1400-cfm AIRAID® Premium Filter from hot underhood air. The cold air charge is drawn through the filter and into the engine with a cross-linked high-density Polyethylene intake adaptor designed to further optimize airflow. The CAD Intake System replaces the restrictive factory air box and its paper filter with Cold Air Dam Panels that keep hot engine compartment air away from the new air filter. Blade-style weatherstripping attaches to the top of the panels and seals against the hood, further blocking hot air. The specially molded snorkels attach to the air box and CVT transmission via large 3” diameter tubes and silicone couplers secured with stainless steel clamps.
